The four project pillars

Full service care

Our engineering team played a crucial role in every phase of the Floret Trading project. Working in close collaboration with STM Design & Build, we were responsible for all engineering aspects, including architectural and structural parts. We oversaw the concrete piling, technical installations, and the integration of the steel construction produced at STAWI. Throughout the project, our focus was on ensuring that every engineering solution met the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Process-focused design

The unique triangular plot required a custom engineering design to maximize storage capacity and operational efficiency. Our team worked closely with the design team to engineer the optimized building layout, including the placement of the floating office above the loading ramp. This design ensured seamless truck processing and improved workflow. Every aspect of the facility’s engineering was tailored to meet the client’s needs, specifically for the storage of food and household products.

Future-proof innovation

Sustainability was a key focus for the engineering solutions we provided. Implementation of 87,000 wp solar power system minimized the facility’s reliance on external energy sources. Additionally, we engineered a heat pump-driven floor heating system and selected high-quality insulated materials throughout the building to optimize energy efficiency. These systems ensure that the facility not only meets current environmental standards but is also ready to adapt to future sustainability requirements.

Trust & safety

Our engineering team’s early involvement in the project, starting from the land acquisition phase, allowed for informed decision-making and ensured that all engineering solutions were efficient, effective, and aligned with the client’s goals. Through continuous communication and collaboration with STM, we delivered the engineering aspects of the project on time and within budget. Trust, safety, and attention to detail were at the heart of our approach, ensuring the project’s success.
